As a customer-driven CEO, Sanjay Mirchandani is determined to deliver Commvault solutions that impact the business and lives of our customers. He has propelled Commvault forward by further innovating its industry-recognized portfolio, introducing a new SaaS offering, and completing the Company’s first major acquisition.
Sanjay joined Commvault from Puppet, where he served as CEO. During his tenure at Puppet, he grew the user base of Puppet’s open source and commercial solutions to more than 40,000 companies, including 75 percent of the Fortune 100. Prior to that, he spent two decades in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, VMware and EMC Corp.
Brian Carolan is Commvault’s Chief Financial Officer and has been with the company since 2001. Before joining Commvault, he was crunching numbers at Ernst & Young LLP. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University, a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University and is a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey.
Riccardo Di Blasio is Commvault’s Chief Revenue Officer. A 25-year industry veteran, Riccardo has grown numerous technology companies in multiple countries across three continents.
In addition to speaking five languages, he is particularly well-versed in helping enterprise and mid-market customers tackle their private, hybrid and multi-cloud transformations. Riccardo has extensive experience leading sales at DXC Technology’s Cloud Platform Solutions business, as well as within Cohesity, VMware and EMC. Before joining DXC, he was CEO at Globetouch, an Internet of Things company. Riccardo also advises several startups, venture capital funds and established technology companies.
As Vice President of Products, Ranga Rajagopalan manages end-to-end software design services for Commvault’s suite of data management and data protection solutions. He has been leading product teams through Commvault’s ongoing transformation to hybrid cloud solutions, and is collaborating across Commvault to shape the future of its product strategy. Prior to joining Commvault, Ranga held multiple positions at Dell EMC, including managing business strategy, planning and operations for Dell EMC’s Data Protection Division. He also led product management for Dell EMC’s data protection appliances, including Data Domain and IDPA. Before Dell EMC, he worked at organizations including Veritas and HP.
Don Foster is Vice President, Global Sales Engineering for Commvault. Don works with Commvault’s regional SE leaders to create a global framework to share best practices, drive cross functional programs, and implement global initiatives. He is also responsible for creating a global SE community to foster innovation in the field and represent the community in the industry and with the ecosystem.
Before holding multiple senior roles at Commvault, Don managed the IT function at a leading Chicago law firm, and became a respected expert in data management, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Geeta Vaghela is Head of Product for Hedvig at Commvault, specializing in software-defined storage and containers. Geeta’s background includes product management, engineering and leadership roles at Dell EMC , starting with unstructured data, and growing her purview to primary storage and data protection. Also an alumnus of NetApp, Geeta is passionate about tech that creates differentiated value in the market and solves real world problems.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Powell often talks about passion – how it can drive your work and life, and make a difference in the world. Beyond looking for a good story, he’s also a storyteller, as evidenced by his notable career in marketing.
Since joining Commvault in 2014, Chris Powell has driven the company’s worldwide marketing strategy and operations. He engineered Commvault’s global brand transformation - which included a complete re-invention of the company website. His experience includes 15 years at SAP, where he was a key contributor to its successful “Runs SAP” global brand.
Sandra Hamilton oversees Commvault’s end2end customer experience and leads the Systems Engineering, Professional Services and Support teams. She advocates for a workplace that provides inclusion for diversity of thought that brings the organization together to provide an outstanding customer experience.
Before Commvault, Sandy led Puppet’s Customer Success team, which included technical pre-sales, post-sales delivery, support and renewals, direct and indirect enablement, and customer education teams. She worked at EMC for nearly 10 years, driving its Global Service team’s go-to-market strategy and planning, and serving as a leader for EMC’s consulting organization. Prior to EMC, Sandy was a senior executive in Accenture’s Communications and High Tech practice.
As the driver of the Metallic team, Manoj is focused on accelerating the innovation and growth of Commvault’s Software as a Service (SaaS) business. Metallic is currently offered to customers in North America, and Manoj is overseeing the product rollout to Western Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
The former CEO and Co-Founder of HyperGrid, Manoj has served up cloud and security offerings for HPE, EMC, VMware and RSA, and holds more than 12 information management and security patents. He has a Master of Computer Science degree from Clemson University.
Gary Merrill has served as VP Business Operations since April 2019. Prior to transitioning to an Operations leadership position, Gary served as Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance since 2012 and as Controller since 2007. Gary served in accounting management positions with several publicly traded companies before joining Commvault. He began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP in its audit practice.
